Who can facilitate or lead a simple church? Anyone
can begin a church.
Where the call on lives is to revolutionary Christian living, the
threshold for leadership is the same. It is not hard to find good
facilitating leaders among revolutionary Christians. [See
abbrev. version of George Barna's book, "Revolution" under
resource.]
Do you worry about some of these communities deviating from the truth? Because of the
high emphasis on relational living and participation in one
another's lives, there is accountability. Connectivity and network
support dovetails beautifully with highly relational revolutionary
Christians. The DNA, so to speak, of these empassioned believers
transfers just like a virus to those looking for Christ. The
exponential growth may be staggering if we imaginge where this
trend might lead. Our hope is that it will fan into flame embers in our
classic church congregations as well as many new simple churches.
